What this training is about?


The purpose of the ITIL Foundation certificate in IT Service Management is to certify that the candidate has gained knowledge of the ITIL terminology, structure and basic concepts and has comprehended the core principles of ITIL practices for service management. The ITIL Foundation certificate in IT Service Management is not intended to enable the holders of the certificate to apply the ITIL practices for service management without further guidance. Instead this training lays down the basics, allowing the candidate to gain insights into practices and activities enabling agile value co-creation to customers of IT services and products. No, anyone is welcome the courses, especially those who want to learn about modern IT Service Management and require a basic understanding of the ITIL framework and those who want to understand how ITIL can be used to enhance IT Service Management, or IT professionals working within an organization that has adopted ITIL.

What are the prerequisites for the ITIL 4 Foundation exam?

There are none.
However, it is strongly recommended to attend an official course or e-learning.

It is usually more economical to book an e-learning, as the official exam is quite expensive. On the US market, for example, it is available at USD 495, while our full e-learning course is available at USD 499!

How does the ITIL 4 Foundation exam work?

The official ITIL 4 Foundation exam is only available as a live, online-proctored exam.

What does this mean?

You will need to install a special app on your PC, which blocks all other actions besides the exam, shares your screen with a person dedicated to you and turns on your microphone, webcam and speakers.

How long is the ITIL 4 certificate valid?

The ITIL 4 Foundation certificate does not expire at all.

How do I get my ITIL 4 digital badge?

After successfully passing the exam, you will receive an e-mail from AXELOS with the next steps, which include:

  • Signing up for a one-year subscription for MyITIL (included in the course price)
  • Creating an account on the Credly platform
  • And last but not least, Accepting your badge
