What is ITIL 4?

ITIL 4 is the latest release of the globally acknowledged IT Infrastructure Library framework. It provides guidance to businesses and individuals on how to use modern IT Service Management practices combined with an Agile mindset to meet ever-changing business needs and deliver value to its users. ITIL is supported by a comprehensive certification scheme, which spans knowledge from the principles to how the entire framework fits together.

How does the official mock exam work?

After purchasing the official ITIL 4 Foundation mock exam, we will generate a voucher code for you.

With that, you will need to register an account at peoplecert.org to access the mock exam under the “Overview” menu section.

Here, you can click “START” to begin the test.

  • First, you get introduced to the official exam tool, which will also be used for the actual exam
  • Then, you need to accept the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
  • Now, you will receive the instructions on how to navigate the tool
  • And finally, by clicking “Start Exam” the fun begins
  • At the end of your Mock Exam, you will receive a test report with full marked results, indicating areas of improvement
How much time do I have for the mock exam?

The voucher can be redeemed after up to 12 months from the date of purchase.

Once you start your mock exam, you have 24 hours to complete it.

How much time do I have for the actual ITIL 4 Foundation exam?

For the ITIL 4 Foundation exam, you have 1 hour by default, but you get 25% extra time if English is not your native language.

Native English speakers get roughly 90 seconds per question, while non-native English speakers get roughly 110 seconds.

For the practice quiz on our page, there is no time limit, nevertheless, you should finish in max. 37,5 minutes to simulate the available time during the actual exam.

How many questions are included in the mock exam?

This mock exam contains 40, officially approved mock exam questions, provided directly by PeopleCert.

How close are the ITIL 4 Foundation practice questions to the actual exam questions?

These practice questions are randomly selected from a large pool containing the actual exam questions, you might even get one of these during the official exam.

How many times can I try the ITIL 4 Foundation mock exam?

The mock exam is available one time. If you want to try it another time, it needs to be purchased again, as a new mock exam voucher code needs to be generated by PeopleCert.

When is my result good enough to try the actual test?

To pass the official ITIL 4 Foundation exam, you need to have 26 correct answers out of 40 questions.
Nevertheless, we suggest to aim for a better score on the practice test, somewhere around 80%-90%, as the actual exam questions might be a bit harder.

There are no prerequisites for taking the ITIL 4 Foundation mock exam, however, it is suggested to attend the official course or prepare in some other way.

    I had watched several Youtube video trying to self-learn ITIL Foundations, but it was not sticking and several concepts and practices were blending and confusing me…I needed help, and I needed a course with the test cost included (because the course with test is cheaper than just the test cost). This course and Alexander’s teachings helped straighten everything out to a point that I could not only understand it, but I could explain it as well. The teachings are great! To be transparent, I also purchase an additional 6 tests on Udemy, to feel more confident with different questions, but a lot of them were similar to Value Insights’ offerings.

    As for opportunistic feedback, If there could be one thing that could be improved it would be that when you select the wrong answer that guidance or an explanation be given as to why the correct answer is correct. This is minor. In fact, for some learners it might be more effective not having the explanation, because they will have to look up the information themselves for memory for topic/subject association, which can lead to better retention as well (though it is more time consuming. Maybe offer the explanation as an option for the user to toggle on or off?

    I would absolutely recommend this course for anyone looking to get ITIL Foundations certified. Alexander’s deliverry is great with a touch of humor every now and then. He breaks down the principles and concepts into language that makes sense. The course also comes with a free retake (if needed). You will be hard pressed to find better value for your investment. I just wish he taught more ITIL tests LOL. RECOMMENDED!!!

    I came across this course on Youtube and was inspired to access all of its content. The investment was worth it!
    The content, structure, delivery and tools around it are excellent. There are plenty of exercise questions, which you can filter, in my case to focus on persistently wrong anwers and thereby improve my exam chances. All in all I can only recommend it. I passed the exam with no difficulties. I appreciated the fact that I didnt just pay and never heard again but received several Emails in the process to accompany my experience.
