As per the Scrum guide – developed and maintained by Jeff Sutherland and Ken Schwaber – Scrum is a framework for developing, delivering, and sustaining complex products. Although Scrum originated in software development teams, it can also be used in variety of situations and industries as well as an alternative to traditional project management a.k.a. predictive models.
